Ministry and Church Updates (October 2026):

The churches in Jardim Varginha and Vargem Grande continue to faithfully serve the Lord in Brazil.
A first-time visitor from Rio de Janeiro attended the church in July while temporarily working in the area. He showed interest in getting involved, but was unexpectedly called back sooner than anticipated.
Irmã Leu recently returned to Vargem Grande with her son and grandson after previously moving to northern Brazil for health reasons. She joyfully shared, “This is my church!” and believes God has led her back to where He wants her to be.
The Lantz's continue to trust the Lord's timing as they wait for godly men who can take responsibility for the churches during their furlough.

Prayer Requests (October 2026):

Irmã Odete has been experiencing blood pressure fluctuations and fainting spells. Pray that doctors will determine the cause and that she will be able to return to normal health.
Irmã Nadir recently suffered a painful sciatic nerve injury that greatly limited her mobility, but praise the Lord she has recovered and is now able to attend church again.
Pray for the missionaries as they wait for the right men to step into leadership of the churches so they can return home for furlough.
Pray for the continued growth and strength of the churches in Jardim Varginha and Vargem Grande.
Pray that the Lord would send more laborers into His harvest.

Encouragement:

The Lantz's are thankful for the faithful prayers and financial support of their supporting churches. They recognize that the churches in Jardim Varginha and Vargem Grande are here today because God's people have faithfully prayed and invested in His work.
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” — Isaiah 26:3
